Charlie Beary from The Beary Family!

Walter Lantz Studios made many great characters like Woody Woodpecker and Chilly Willy, but my favorite is Charlie Beary. The Beary Family is a series of 28 theatrical shorts made from 1962 to 1972, check the comments below for a link to episodes. Poor Charlie tries his best but bad luck and his flakey beatnik son usually work against him. And his nagging wife is always around to point out the poor guy's shortcomings. His personality is similar to Fred Flintstone or Homer Simpson. This is a bit of an obscure character but one of my very favorites. Stay tuned for more cool art coming soon...
